The ammunition collection
The rounds in our collection come from a few favorite places:
- South East Regional Park, where Gun Websites volunteered as Range Safety Officers for years. Shooters set aside bad or unusual ammo there, and digging through it turned up something new now and then.
- Tucson Guns & Western Artifacts, a Tucson gun shop that has supported our websites and collections for many years. They carry all kinds of unusual, obsolete and hard-to-find calibers, and there is often something new for the collection on each visit.
- Gun shows, a great source for rare, vintage and out-of-production ammunition.
- The range floor. You never know what you’ll find if you just start paying attention to what’s around you.
